Architectural Restoration in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Make all things new again when you trust Stevens Woodworking for architectural restoration in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We specialize in restoration of landmark quality, architecturally significant windows and doors. There are some clients of ours we serve who feel strongly enough about their homes heritage that it justifies our services.  Through our experiences, conventional door and double hung window restoration is not an economically attractive option to replacements. Preserving its significance and history is our main objective. Restoration may not be economical, however, the end result is extremely rewarding for our customers.

Dependable Architectural Preservation Business

Our first commercial restoration job was on the Gatehouse in Manhattan Island in New York. All the windows and doors needed to be replaced. However, they needed to look just like the originals. This old stone building is now completely restored, and it is used as a performing arts center on the campus of the City College of New York. The windows are all red oak with many rectangular stained glass pieces. They are housed in cast iron jambs above standard clear glass windows in round “portal” openings or over four entrance doors. Whatever your architectural restoration needs may be, we are up to the task.
